Requirements

  • Preferably a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical management within the renewable energy sector, with a focus on solar PV and BESS.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical design and simulation software, such as AutoCAD.
  • In-depth understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations related to solar PV and BESS.
  • Excellent commercial management skills, including planning, budgeting, and scheduling.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a small team.
  • Managing the development process securing grid, preparing and monitoring planning stages and related of utility scale solar PV and BESS projects.
  • Challenging grid offers to deliver the most cost effective solution. Liaising with iDNOs (Independent DNOs).
  • Managing work flow to deliver sites to RTB stage and support preparation of commercial review of project headline characteristics.
  • Prepare and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
  • Coordinate internally with colleagues to ensure smooth delivery of key milestones.
  • Manage relationships with grid operators (National Grid and DNOs) outsources contacting (planning, grid support consultants and related) and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
