  • This position is subject to FINRA background screening requirements. Candidates must successfully complete and pass a background check prior to hire. Responsibilities

  • Participate in analyzing companies, develop strategies for clients, pulling market and industry research, and completing a trading simulation within Investment Banking Mid-Year Program
  • Review strategies for clients, build detailed financial models, analyze market data, and prepare client presentations related to low-to-medium risk tasks and deliverables
  • Receive direction from a manager and exercise independent judgment while developing understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for the supported area
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Interact with internal and external customers
  • Create detailed financial models used for valuation (DCF, LBO, merger plans, accretion/dilution, comparable company and transaction analyses)
  • Perform comprehensive company and industry research
  • Work closely with senior bankers on client presentations, financial and credit analyses, and the preparation of financial projections and models, including valuations and merger consequences
  • Prepare marketing documents, including pitch materials, confidential offering memoranda
  • Conduct extensive financial and industry due diligence to evaluate the risk/return parameters of potential transactions
  • Work as a member of a team executing advisory services across products including M&A, equity, debt, leveraged finance, etc.
  • Participate in client meetings, due diligence visits, and other client interactions to gain exposure to key executives and senior bankers
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Support senior bankers in their relationship management responsibilities, including interaction with current and prospective clients
