Responsibilities

  • The post holder will provide the lead role for the implementation of the education, training and development strategy across theatres for all staff groups.
  • The post holder must ensure the implementation of education and training to support evidenced based care across the clinical teams.
  • The post holder will improve standards of care through the development of all staff groups, undertaking audit and research, teaching and supporting colleagues and the provision of skilled leadership.
  • The post holder will ensure that the workforce is fit for purpose in terms of their roles and that individual/role competencies are reviewed to provide a safe, high quality and efficient service.
