Requirements

Proven experience in operations and carrier management is a must, experience in the e-commerce and/or 3PL industry is strongly preferred.
Vocational or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Operations, Supply Chain Management or equivalent is a plus.
In-depth knowledge of carrier operations, relationships between pickup schedules and transit times, and industry best practices.
Strong ability to analyze and utilize data to drive decision-making and process improvement.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to coordinate effectively with carriers and all internal stakeholders.
Full professional working proficiency in English.
The ability to build and supervise a team and engage team members different locations within a dynamic e-commerce environment.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Adaptable & proactive personality who can prioritize, quickly adapt to changing conditions and take care of execution of different projects and operations.
Flexibility on travel with regular business travel to other locations in the Europe region (possession of a driver's license and car is strongly desired).

Responsibilities

Reviewing and optimizing carrier schedules to align with operational requirements and meet SLAs.
Utilizing data analytics tools to track and analyzing carrier performance, transit times, and key operational metrics.
Implementing strategies to optimize carrier schedules, reduce lead times, and enhance overall efficiency in parcel distribution operation.
Overseeing day-to-day operations related to carrier pickups, ensuring a smooth and coordinated flow of shipments from the fulfillment centers.
Collaborating with internal teams to streamline processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement operational improvements.
Establishing procedures to manage the relationship between the DP World outbound teams and local parcel carrier operations teams.
Resolving and or escalating parcel operations exceptions as well as onboarding new parcel carrier providers.
Effectively building and supervising the regional parcel operations team, providing leadership and promoting collaboration with team members while ensuring that personal development is established.
Making sure that the organization's goals & objectives are aligned and translated into SMART targets for the specific team.
Act as an ambassador for DP World at all times when working; promoting and demonstrating positive behaviors in harmony with DP World’s Principles, values and culture; ensuring the highest level of safety is applied in all activities; understanding and following DP World’s Code of Conduct and Ethics policies.
