Where will the Trust Grade Registrar primarily work?
The post holder will primarily work at Churchill Hospital, Oxford, or Katharine House Hospice, Banbury, but must be willing to work at any of the Trust’s locations and outreach into the community if required.
What are the main responsibilities of the Trust Grade Registrar?
The Trust Grade Registrar will perform the duties of Senior Fellow to the Palliative Medicine team, which includes working in specialist inpatient wards, the Hospital Palliative Care Team, and the Community Palliative Care Team.
Who will the Trust Grade Registrar be working with?
The successful candidate will be part of a medical team comprising 9 consultants, 1 Associate Specialist, 6 Specialty Doctors, and other doctors training in Palliative Medicine and General Practice, as well as a multidisciplinary team including nurses and allied health professionals.
Is there an on-call obligation for the role?
Yes, the post holder will participate in the on-call rota alongside current Specialist Registrars and Specialty Doctors.
