Responsibilities

  • Join our growing and experienced UX team, laser-focused on delighting our users
  • You’ll own & drive the full design process from discovery through to delivery: turning research insights into ideas, designing the workflows and UI for features, getting them shipped in product releases and monitoring their success
  • Partner with product managers to research and understand the jobs to be done for our customers & lead user research to discover friction and unmet needs
  • Work closely with engineering teams to ship projects that help address customer needs and add value to the Gearset platform
  • This role comes with plenty of opportunity to lead the research and design for core workflows on the Gearset platform
  • Working with customers to understand their needs; you’ll plan & conduct generative product research to help discover needs and uncover points of friction
  • Iterating on ideas, with peers, to solve those needs; you’ll share & seek feedback on work with other designers, product managers and engineers
  • Prototyping solutions to validate their value with users; you’ll organise & lead evaluative research with engineering teams, focusing on target users
  • Collaborating with teams to get the right solution shipped on our platform; you’ll work with engineers to get features into the hands of our customers
  • Advocate and initiate new research, design and engineering work to improve shipped projects and to shape new projects
  • Support your peers in the UX team; pairing and reviewing work, actively providing feedback and helping the team mature and grow
