Responsibilities

  • 1. Lead and provide executive oversight for all aspects of integration of Milford campus with BH and YNHHS - operations, patient experience, safety/quality, and financial performance, business development and strategy alignment.
  • 2. Establish, manage and leverage effective triad site executive team.
  • 3. Establish, monitor and disseminate key performance metrics.
  • 4. Enlists BH and YNHHS leadership team to achieve optimal organizational results.
  • 5. Develop and deploy campus leadership onboarding, training and development in partnership with HR and IFE.
  • 6. Connect with community organizations, leaders and physicians to establish, enhance and/or expand existing BH and YNHHS relationships.
  • 7. Maintain and establish effective campus specific communications and public relations platforms.
  • 8. Sponsor cultural integration committee responsible for integrating culture across BH, MC, YNHHS and our community.
  • 9. Oversee and support clinical program development for geriatric and palliative care services.
  • 10. Establish Milford campus as age friendly destination hospital in partnership with BH, YNHHS, and YM.
  • 11. Influence implementation of a system geriatric and palliative care service.
  • 12. Lead ambulatory operations in the BH region to include MC, PAMC and all ambulatory sites in our region. include implementation of the unrealized MC plan, the PAMC optimization assessment and the deployment of an optimization effort in Fairfield/Westport. Work efforts will be in alignment with the system ambulatory strategy.
  • 13. Define and oversee implementation of system-wide patient experience, operating and facilities standards for ambulatory operations.
  • 14. Lead the development and operational implementation of new and growing clinical programs in the region. Effectively hand these programs off to the functional leaders once stabilized.
  • 15. Develop strategic and short/long term business plans in collaboration with clinical program leaders.
  • 16. Stay abreast of regional competition to drive the areas of focus for growth plans.
  • 17. Responsibilities includes the development and implementation of a strategic agenda and plan that will support the continued growth and overall improvement of patient safety and experience for each the departments.
  • 18. Complete MC integration and clinical services gap assessment against the original vision, state commitments and workplan.
  • 19. Review and reassess the MC vision.
  • 20. Re-evaluate organization structure in the context of the integration and vision realization.
  • 21. Develop workplans associated with the above assessments.
  • 22. Lead MC through a full realization of the MC orthopedic expansion plan in collaboration with YNHHS.
  • 23. In partnership with physician and nursing leadership, drive full implementation of HRO principles and culture shift.
  • 24. Performs all other duties as assigned.
