Women in Law Society

Founded in 2020, the Women in Law Society at the University of Birmingham is dedicated to diversifying the legal sector and empowering the next generation of legal professionals. We host a wide range of engaging events, skills-based workshops, and insightful seminars aimed at equipping our members with the tools they need to succeed in their legal careers. Our society is proud to have been shortlisted as a Top 5 ‘Society of the Year’ by the Guild of Students 2025 and recognised as the 2nd Most Impactful Society in the UK by Huzzle 100. Through a strong commitment to both personal and professional development, we continue to create inclusive, inspiring spaces where aspiring lawyers can thrive.
