Business Society

The Business Society @ HWU aims to provide its members with the opportunity to network with fellow students across all the business degree pathways and year groups, whilst also giving insights into career prospects in Business, Finance and other relevant industries. The society provides a link for students to connect with their peers, the Student Union, and other relevant organisations with University life. We do host socials! These range from networking with peers to interactive discussions on current events from alumni, and maybe the odd quiz night! Therefore, we want to offer more of a service by putting students into contact with potential employers, giving them an opportunity to use the theory they learn in lectures and putting it into practice during these sessions with industry experts. Don’t worry, we haven’t forgotten the real social side… We also plan to host some evening events (when we can!), so keep an eye out for details coming soon. We are open to ALL students at Heriot-Watt, you don’t have to be studying a business degree to come and join us.
