Imperial Investment Society

Founded in October 2015, the Imperial College Investment Society has become a dynamic hub for STEM and medicine students to explore the world of finance and investment. Our society is dedicated to equipping members with essential financial guidance, growing as the largest non-departmental society at Imperial. At the heart of our activities is our student-run fund, where members actively participate in weekly interactive investment meetings. These sessions provide a platform for members to present their ideas, ask questions, and collectively decide whether to add investment pitches to our portfolio. Through immersion in global financial news, investment theory, and our SEC course, our members gain important commercial awareness and financial acumen, essential skills for any professional workplace. We also offer a diverse range of career opportunities, from Banking to Asset Management to Hedge Funds, to Private Equity, through office visits, speaker sessions, and industry panels featuring big-name professionals.
