At NU London, The Lydian Society aims to facilitate a broad understanding of the financial sector and to foster any student’s desire to pursue a career in finance. ​ We believe that the protean nature of finance, as well as the varied make-up of the industry as a whole, should be reflected in our agenda. This ensures that our engagement with the student body is both congruent with our members wishes and worthwhile from a learning perspective. ​ We aim to provide benefit to our members through a wide variety of events, ranging from networking events and panel discussions to trading simulations and workshops, throughout the course of the academic year. Our purpose is to furnish our members with the skills and knowledge they will need to embark on a career in the financial world.
