Learn more details about our work modes and workplace safety policies here.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;strong&gt;What’s this team like at Etsy?&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;The team is responsible for consolidating financial forecasts across various subsidiaries, analyzing Etsy’s P&amp;amp;L, and driving company-wide financial planning processes, including our Strategic Financial Planning and Monthly Forecast processes.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;strong&gt;What does the day-to-day look like?&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;Play a key role in supporting our financial and operational planning processes, and evolving the underlying integrated financial forecast models, systems, and tools.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Work with leads across the Finance Organization to build budgets and forecasts&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Develop, optimize, and standardize Strategic Finance processes, including coordinating automation opportunities and sharing best practices.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Coordinate and collaborate closely with the partner-team Strategic Finance leads, other finance functions (Accounting, Tax, Investor Relations, Corporate Development), and additional vital operational teams (HR and Strategy &amp;amp; Operations) to develop models and deliver insights.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Develop meaningful analytics and reporting for our Executive leaders&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Of course, this is just a sample of the kinds of work this role will require! You should assume that your role will encompass other tasks, too, and that your job duties and responsibilities may change from time to time at Etsy's discretion, or otherwise applicable with local law.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Qualities that will help you thrive in this role are:&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;2+ years of finance experience, including experience in financial planning, business analysis, investment banking or related, with proven understanding of financial modeling and analysis tools&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;An ideal candidate has played a meaningful role in a budgeting and forecasting process and enjoys a continuous planning environment&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Experience with forecasting software including Planful, Anaplan, NetSuite, and Adaptive&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Firm grasp of GAAP; familiarity with e-Commerce and technology is a plus&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Experience with Looker or Workday Financial Management is also a strength&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Docs (Excel/Sheets and Powerpoint/Slides) is required&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Intellectual curiosity and high energy level with a hands-on approach combined with the ability to provide leadership and structure in a fast-paced dynamic environment&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Additional Information&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;What's Next&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;If you're interested in joining the team at Etsy, please share your resume with us and feel free to include a cover letter if you'd like.
