Requirements

  • Currently enrolled full time and pursuing a MS or PhD degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or related fields are strongly preferred; or equivalent experience required
  • Strong Proficiency with statistical programming software like Python (pandas, scikit-learn, etc.) and/or R (dplyr, ggplot2, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of Statistics & Hypothesis Testing
  • Experience with predictive modeling and (supervised and unsupervised) machine learning algorithms
  • Experience in querying, manipulating, and analyzing large data sets using SQL and/or SQL-like languages.
  • Familiarity with version control software GitHub and data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI
  • Understanding of Experimental Design, Measurement (A/B Testing), and Causal Inference methods
  • Ability to participate in a full-time internship between May-September

Responsibilities

  • The intern will be expected to serve as an individual contributor and will work with various members of the Product Data Science teams to construct functioning prototypes using real-world big data. This will be achieved by employing techniques in statistical modeling, machine learning, causal inference, and software development. The prototypes will be crafted to produce valuable insights that will be leveraged to develop highly effective programs for Adobe's Experience Cloud products.
