Requirements

  • Proficient in common software suites including Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Understanding of planning principles as it relates to roadway, urban, land-use, or aviation planning.
  • Ability to multi-task various assignments with varying due dates
  • Ability to interpret design drawings in various formats and software suites
  • Ability to interpret regulatory, administrative, and planning documentation as it relates to future capital development

Responsibilities

  • Assists the Planning staff with planning programs, compiles planning data, and assists Planning staff with the execution of the CIP Governance meetings
  • Assists with the development and management of a $6 Billion Capital Improvement Program
  • Assists Planning staff with design reviews and coordinating with Engineering staff
  • Assists in team oriented planning projects
  • Assists in coordination with other internal stakeholders as needed

  • Understanding of planning principles as it relates to roadway, urban, land-use, or aviation planning.

  • Ability to interpret regulatory, administrative, and planning documentation as it relates to future capital development
  • Referred Qualification:
  • Planning or Engineering courses of study preferred. Interest in learning the technical and regulatory components of aviation as well as interest in large capital programs their support of the Airport Master Plan. Proficient in common software suites including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Bluebeam preferred. .
  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • Current enrollment in an accredited college or university leading towards a Bachelor's degree with major course work in a related field of study specific to the departmental and/or work assignment.
