What is the purpose of the Apprentice Data Input Clerk position?
The purpose of the position is to support the individual in achieving an Apprenticeship in Business Administration and Customer Service, while developing essential administrative and customer service skills.

The job will be based at the Lewisham Hospital site, specifically in the Owen Centre, with occasional cross-site working as required.
What qualifications are required for this position?
A good standard of education to GCSE A-C level or equivalent is required, while an NVQ in Business or equivalent is desirable.
What experience is essential for the role?
Significant input experience, experience of analyzing data from various sources, and experience of working with multiple database and reporting packages are essential.
What software skills are required for this job?
The ideal candidate should have good knowledge and experience of databases, spreadsheets, reporting software packages, and should be able to use Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel, at an advanced level.
How long is the apprenticeship duration?
The apprenticeship is for a duration of 24 months.
What is the salary for this apprenticeship?
The salary is dependent on experience, starting at £21,945 per annum including HCAS (Annex 21).
Will the apprentice have to complete assessments?
Yes, the apprentice will have to complete training activities and assessments in line with the apprenticeship requirements, including an End-point assessment by an independent assessor.
