Responsibilities

  • You will be carrying out observations for the babies on the ward as well as older children, supporting with feeding, washing and dressing patients as well as providing support to the wider family around the child.
  • We would offer all additional relevant training required to extend their knowledge and skills to care of our patients.
  • We also offer all staff the opportunity to become a link for areas that they have particular interest in and give opportunities to gain experience and receive training in this area and disseminate learning to colleagues.
  • This opportunity would allow the successful candidate to develop skills and experience in caring for children attending hospital and provide the high standard family centered care we pride ourselves on.
