What is the duration of the Assurance Internship?**
The Assurance Internship is scheduled for June 2025. **Question: What will interns be involved in during the Assurance Internship?** **Answer:** Interns will become involved with all aspects of the Assurance practice, gaining solid, hands-on experience through challenging and relevant assignments, working directly with Marcum partners and staff. **Question: What types of tasks will interns perform?** **Answer:** Interns will work alongside the Assurance staff in performing the audit compliance function of the Assurance practice, and they will be assigned client work and involved in various projects on an as-needed basis. **Question: What skills are required for this internship?** **Answer:** The position requires strong quantitative, analytical, and technology capabilities, along with a demonstrated initiative and a strong desire to learn. **Question: What is the goal of the internship?** **Answer:** The goal of the internship is to provide interns with a clear understanding of all areas of the Assurance department and what will be expected of a Staff Assurance. **Question: Will interns have training opportunities?** **Answer:** Yes, interns are allowed and encouraged to attend any subject matter training being offered during their internship, with Marcum LLP providing over 150 courses per year in-house. **Question: Will interns receive any additional training?** **Answer:** Interns will receive on-the-job training and may also be required to visit client sites. **Question: Will interns have direct interaction with clients?** **Answer:** Yes, interns may have direct interaction with clients as they will be involved in various projects and may need to go to client sites at times. **Question: Can interns expect to work independently?** **Answer:** Interns will work closely with Assurance staff and are likely to support various projects rather than working completely independently. However, they are expected to exhibit initiative.
