Requirements

  • Currently pursuing an Undergraduate/Master degree in Business, Information Technology, Cyber Security or related field.
  • Able to commit to working for 12 weeks during Summer 2024.
  • Strong interest in cyber security and a desire to pursue a career in the field.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and manage priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Self-motivated, quick learner, and team player.
  • Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Graduating December 2024 onwards with the intent to return to FTE after the completion of the internship.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools is a plus.
  • Experience with graphic design is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Project Coordination:
  • Assist in coordinating and monitoring various cyber security projects under the guidance of senior project managers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met within defined timelines.
  • Help track project deliverables, schedules, and budgets using established project management tools.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk assessments.
  • Support the creation and distribution of project-related reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders and leadership.
  • Training Program Support:
  • Collaborate with the Training and Awareness team to assist in the development, coordination, and delivery of engaging cyber security training programs and materials.
  • Help create multimedia content, presentations, videos, and e-learning modules to convey key security concepts to employees.
  • Communication and Collaboration:
  • Facilitate clear and effective communication among Global Security teams and XFN partners, ensuring everyone is informed and aligned.
  • Risk Management:
  • Assist in identifying and assessing potential project risks, and work with the team to develop mitigation strategies.
  • Support the maintenance of a risk register, tracking issues and resolutions.
  • Learning and Development:
  • Engage in internal training opportunities to develop a deeper understanding of cyber security project management practices.
  • Take initiative to learn from experienced professionals in the cyber security field.
