Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a BS or MS degree in a quantitative field such as Math, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in SQL and at least one scripting language (preferably R/Python).
  • Experience in using data visualization tools
  • Experience with large data sets and distributed computing (Hive/Hadoop) is a plus.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proactive and independent in driving projects to completion with minimal guidance, including effective prioritization and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively presenting analysis results and working collaboratively across diverse teams.
  • Strong curiosity; sensitive to data; good at extracting insights from data.

Responsibilities

  • Apply your expertise in quantitative analysis and data mining to understand user / advertiser interactions with TikTok's ads products.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to address business challenges, design metrics, identifying trends and opportunities.
  • Play a key role in informing and influencing product decisions and strategies
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and metrics to monitor product performance.
  • Analyze large data sets to extract meaningful insights that influence product decisions.
  • Manage the development of data resources, coordinating requirements and supporting product launches.
