Responsibilities

  • The candidates will be expected to contribute to ward work as well as involving in theatre and outpatient clinic sessions.
  • Delivery of the highest possible standard of care to patients is the ultimate priority.
  • Fellows will be responsible for the day-to-day care of inpatients and will report to the responsible consultants.
  • Mechanisms are in place to match experience and educational requirements to training provision.
  • The majority of clinical work is delivered at the GRI site, with the opportunity of further paediatric plastic surgery exposure in RHC.
  • Fellows will work under the supervision of senior residents and consultants and will have access to dedicated theatre and clinic sessions.
