Responsibilities

  • Deliver evidence-based early interventions for children and young people, working across both educational settings and healthcare sectors in England.
  • Work in a split post of three days clinical and two teaching days at their training site for 12 months.
  • Provide mental health support within mental health support teams (MHST).
  • Engage with children and young people to assess their needs and deliver appropriate interventions.
  • Collaborate with educational staff and healthcare professionals to promote mental health and wellbeing.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance professional skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the evaluation and improvement of services delivered by the MHST.
  • Support the implementation of mental health initiatives across educational settings.
