Responsibilities

  • Operational leadership of Imaging, IR and CDC services
  • Delivery of divisional financial and operational priorities
  • Performance and quality management, including delivery of national targets
  • Supporting clinical leaders to ensure services are responsive, innovative and patient‑focused
  • Leading operational problem‑solving and implementation of sustainable solutions
  • Acting as a key member of the ECAT Management Team with collective responsibility
  • Promoting equality, diversity and inclusion and acting as an ambassador for the Trust
  • Co-ordinate the operational delivery of all services across the Community Diagnostic Centre at Mile End Hospital and the Imaging and Interventional Radiology Department at The Royal London Hospital as well as other services within the Division as directed by the Deputy Divisional Director of Operations and to ensure the safe and effective use of all resources. Specifically, to take a lead in achieving key performance targets in line with local and national agreements.
  • In partnership with the Divisional Senior Leadership team - with the specialty Lead Clinicians, Matrons, Operational Managers and Heads of Department within the Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) Division as well as within other services within the Division for the delivery of the Division’s financial and operational priorities.
  • Provide timely, efficient and effective operational service management support for Community Diagnostic Centre and Royal London Imaging Department.
  • Support the Clinical Director, Lead Clinicians and operational team to ensure that the service is responsive, innovative and provides the highest possible clinical and performance standards.
  • Lead on ensuring that all performance/quality targets are met.
