Responsibilities

  • To effectively and efficiently perform a full range of typing duties.
  • To efficiently and accurately type letters relating to patients’ clinic appointments, test results, referrals and discharge summaries from audio dictation in compliance with Directorate policies and procedures.
  • Comply with ABUHB policies.
  • Liaise effectively with all levels of personnel within the Service, ABUHB and stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner in line with the ABUHB Values and Behaviours Framework.
  • To ensure audio typing is undertaken within indicated timeframes and in line with service processes.
  • Must be flexible to the needs of the service.
  • Take responsibility for acting within the limits of your competence and seek guidance from your line manager if unsure.
