  • - Capability to evaluate outcomes of physiotherapy and occupational therapy treatments
  • - Ability to help develop the rehabilitation pathway for patients
  • - Willingness to continue rehabilitation onto the wards after intensive care

Responsibilities

  • - Work closely with our Physiotherapists and Occupational therapists to manage a caseload of complex patients in the intensive care units with a variety of conditions
  • - Take on responsibility for managing a caseload
  • - Provide rehabilitation both physically and psychologically
  • - Provide functional and cognitive assessments through timely assessment and development of individualised treatment plans
  • - Plan and implement interventions and evaluate outcomes of physiotherapy and occupational therapy treatments
  • - Help develop the rehabilitation pathway of these patients and continue their rehabilitation onto the wards once they have left the intensive care unit
  • - Work closely with other members of the MDT to complete this along with strong support from within the Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy profession
  • - Undertake training and work with specialist staff to make maximum use of the opportunities on offer
