Responsibilities

  • As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible in ensuring that patients are at the centre of the care you deliver, personal preferences are always put into considerations. As part of your role you will:
  • Document care planning activities for patients to meet changing physical, psychological and social needs, taking into consideration their privacy, dignity, personal choice and consent. Ensure care plans are developed in collaboration with patients and their family/friends (where appropriate) and members of the multi-disciplinary team.
  • Undertake all aspects of medicine management in line with legal, professional and regulatory requirements. Be responsible in promoting and safeguarding the welfare of patients and colleagues.
  • Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized patient care through appropriate frameworks, including safe effective arrangements for discharge, underpinned by Trust values.
