Responsibilities

  • To provide administrative support to the various multi-disciplinary teams within the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services and working closely with the Service Improvement Manager and SMT Admin Coordinator.
  • This role involves communicating with families and children who are patients of the Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service. Post holders must have the interpersonal skills and resources to respond appropriately to enquiries where the caller/service user may be angry, distressed, or confused. Post holders also need to know how to respond to suspected or actual disclosures where Child Protection is a concern.
