Responsibilities

  • As a Carpenter, You Will Carry Out a Wide Range Of Carpentry And Building Fabric Maintenance Tasks—both Planned And Reactive—across Aneurin Bevan University Health Board Sites. Your Work Will Include
  • Installation, repair and maintenance of building fabric and structural components
  • Fire door inspections, repairs and compartmentation checks
  • Ironmongery repairs, lock maintenance and key cutting
  • Operation of woodworking machinery and various specialist equipment
  • Supporting other trades and contributing to minor improvement works
  • Using digital systems such as PDAs, tablets and maintenance management software
  • Ensuring full compliance with Health Board policies, safety standards and Building Regulations
