What is the working hours for the Counsellor position?
The position is part-time at 0.4 WTE, which translates to 14.8 hours per week.
What qualifications are required for this role?
An accredited Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling is essential, along with accreditation (or eligibility and readiness to apply for accreditation) with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
What type of therapy expertise is desirable for this role?
Expertise in Person Centred Therapy is desirable for this position.
Can I apply if I do not have extensive NHS experience?
While experience of working in NHS settings is preferred, significant post-qualification experience in counselling may still be considered.

Will my hours be affected by the reduction of the full-time working week to 37 hours?
