Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate will provide robust, conscientious leadership and have a sound knowledge of managing a busy department, HR and quality systems.
  • You will be expected to oversee the day-to-day planning and organisation of Blood Science Reception and the Phlebotomy Service motivating and managing staff, prioritising a busy workload and overseeing all daily operations.
  • You will have the support of the Pre-analytical manager, two Band 4 pre-analytical supervisors & two Band 4 Phlebotomy supervisors as well as the Blood Science department managers.
