Responsibilities

  • The COO will work closely with the Permanent Secretary as her principal operations adviser, supporting her in her role as Principal Accounting Officer, and ensuring the Department acts in accordance with the principles of Managing Public Money.
  • The COO will also provide cross departmental leadership on MoJ's corporate services and functions, ensuring they work together as more than the sum of their parts across the MoJ Group.
