Responsibilities

  • manage inpatients or the team caseload and the day-to-day workload of the service
  • attend ward rounds, team meetings and CPA meetings
  • carry out risk assessments and develop risk management and care plans
  • monitor patients’ physical health including examinations and investigations
  • liaise with GPs and other internal and external professionals
  • attend external patient meetings when needed
  • make safeguarding referrals
  • maintain accurate clinical records including reports, letters, discharge summaries, and electronic notes
  • take part in audit, research, quality improvement, service development, teaching, team meetings, and reflective practice
