Responsibilities

  • The post holder will support the Head of Board Business by:
  • supporting the development of the annual programme of meetings to integrate effectively with the reporting cycle
  • supporting the development of annual forward plans, preparation of meeting agendas, quality assuring and distributing papers and ensuring the timely production of high-quality meeting minutes
  • producing and managing meeting action logs, ensuring that all actions from meetings have been captured correctly and liaising with the responsible officers within the required timelines
  • working closely with colleagues in the team to ensure the effective flow of business between the Executive Committee, Assurance Committees and up to the Board
  • supporting the preparation of reports for meetings, including preparation of the Annual Accountability Report
  • supporting the development of Committee Annual Reports and Assurance Reports, working closely with Committee Chairs to ensure a comprehensive review of the Committee’s work
  • coordinating any relevant Independent Member (Non-Executive Director) activities relating to Board and Committees
