Requirements

  • 10 years of experience building a technical support team in a technology, technology services, SaaS or cloud business.
  • 10 years of experience with distributed compute environments, software development, big data analytics, cloud computing including virtualization, hosted services, multi tenant cloud infrastructures, storage systems or content delivery networks.
  • Experience working with channel partners, systems integrators and third-party developers to deliver successful solutions.
  • Experience in leading global or distributed teams, with a focus on coaching, mentoring, and developing team members.
  • Experience in reading software code in one or more language such as Java, JavaScript, Python.
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional, geographically dispersed team and grow in an evolving and ambiguous environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation writing and delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Formulate the strategy and development agenda (e.g., roadmap or program) that strengthens and innovates Google Cloud’s capability to lead and implement cloud migrations and digital transformation projects for customer organizations.
  • Establish and manage tandem with peer leaders in the cloud customer experience organization, a performance management system that systematically governs the overall service delivery operation in the region, including the expedient escalation and resolution of issues.
  • Work with customer technical leads, client executives, and partners to manage and deliver implementations of cloud solutions, becoming a trusted advisor to decision makers throughout the engagement.
  • Partner closely with governing performance of the various Global System Integrators (GSIs) and other IT service firms who are working on cloud implementation engagements.
