  • Lead developments in practice consistent with the care priorities set nationally, locally and within the Directorate. Development of new roles or service redesign will take place in line with best practice and evidence based care.
  • Ensure that Patient Safety, Patient Experience and Clinical Outcomes are all monitored and measured and are of a high standard.

Responsibilities

  • To provide strong clinical leadership and support to the Associate Director of Midwifery and Children's Services in activities within the Directorate relating to the delivery of high quality services which inspires, motivates and empowers midwives, nurses and maternity support workers.
  • The post holder will lead on delegated projects and agreed activities within the Directorate on behalf of the Associate Director of Midwifery and Children's Services.
