Responsibilities

  • The Head of Training Delivery for the Defence Intelligence Academy Targeting College will lead the delivery of the targeting education and training for the Academy.
  • The incumbent will deliver training to DI, its single Service counterparts, and wider Defence and its partners where capacity allows.
  • The incumbent and their team will collectively have responsibility for the professional, effective, and efficient delivery of training across Defence and other organisations as directed and will provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) advice and guidance when required.
  • Additionally, this post will be responsible for the management, welfare, and discipline of trainees and will maintain all personal and professional standards in accordance with Academy policy.
  • The Training Management Group will ensure delivery of the majority of course admin support to the incumbent.
  • The post holder will need to routinely engage with staff across the Academy and multiple Defence Intelligence sites, and there will be regular travel required to other sites.
  • The incumbent will need to work primarily at RAF Wyton, with regular visits to other Defence sites including Hermitage and Chicksands.
  • The incumbent will also be required to deliver the training at sites other than RAF Wyton.
  • The incumbent will line manage up to 3 Higher Executive Officers (HEO) and an Executive Officers (EO) once the team is fully established.
