Requirements

  • - Trust Grade doctors (CT level) in the Burns and Plastic Surgery Department.

Responsibilities

  • - Work with nationally renowned Consultant Plastic Surgeons
  • - Gain exposure to both elective and trauma admissions
  • - Participate in sub-specialised elective surgery in hand surgery, breast reconstruction, complex reconstruction
  • - Handle emergency work including all aspects of hand and upper limb injuries, facial soft tissue trauma
  • - Work in the regional burns centre
  • - Participate in daily trauma clinics
  • - Join consultant led trauma operating lists
  • - Engage in elective and emergency paediatric surgery at RMCH
  • - Support the regional cleft service and paediatric burns centre
