Requirements

  • We are looking for an enthusiastic and versatile individual who will preferably have experience working within a biological lab environment and/or with animals. You have excellent communication skills, work well as part of a time and have basic computing skills. Due to the nature of the work you should have a good level of physical fitness.

Responsibilities

  • This is an exciting role with varied responsibilities. You will support our aquaria and insect rooms, will help to run our glass washing facility, and provide assistance with the maintenance of scientific equipment, the preparation of media and the running of the tissue culture lab. You will occasionally help the teaching lab with the preparation of practical activities.
