What type of physiotherapist are you looking for?
We are looking for motivated, dynamic, and enthusiastic Physiotherapists to join our well-established musculoskeletal team.
Where will the physiotherapist work?
The physiotherapist will work in the outpatient department managing a comprehensive range of musculoskeletal conditions, including hand conditions.
What types of referrals does the department receive?
We receive self-referrals, referrals from GP and consultants, as well as from our Advanced Practitioner Service and other healthcare professionals.
Will there be opportunities to specialize in hand conditions?
Yes, there will be opportunities to expand hand specialisms where directed by service needs.
Is training and professional development supported?
Yes, in-service training is encouraged and supported, and you will be expected to commit to your own personal development.
Will I have the opportunity to teach or supervise students?
Once you have received the appropriate training, you will be encouraged to act as a clinical educator and assist in the supervision of undergraduate physiotherapy students.
What is the team environment like?
You will have close links with the band 7 staff working in the Musculoskeletal Advanced Practitioner Service (MSKAPS) and will be part of a skilled and dedicated workforce.
What type of patient caseload will I manage?
You will be professionally and legally accountable for a designated patient caseload and will manage clinical risk within this caseload.
