Responsibilities

  • Work with all members of the Ward/Department clinical team within the multi-disciplinary framework.
  • Maintain a high standard of patient care under the direction of the Ward/Department Sister/Charge Nurse.
  • As a registered nurse on the ward you will be responsible for a cohort of patients, providing bed side care.
  • Working along side the management team to provide excellent patient care in a supportive environment.
  • Teaching and coaching will be available at all times.
  • As a Newly Qualified Nurse you will become fully integrated into the team and will be encouraged to continually develop your skills.
  • To support the delivery of a high quality, safe and compassionate healthcare service, all staff are expected to act as a role model to others in all aspects of their work and consistently demonstrate NNUH’s ‘PRIDE’ values of People focused, Respect, Integrity, Dedication and Excellence.
