Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day provision of non-standard procurement and project delivery activities.
  • The management and operational delivery of physical and non-physical operational assets to meet end-user requirements.
  • Make the best use of all resources at your disposal (including your own time), looking for opportunities to enhance delivery of operation capability for MODs Cyber & Specialist Operations Command, whilst seeking to deliver in a cost-effective basis.
  • Maintain a robust operational capability, that will underpin the operational output of MOD units and individual operatives.
  • Represent MODs Cyber & Specialist Operations Command where required, within key working groups within HMG and externally.
  • Regular travel between MODs Cyber & Specialist Operations Command units to assure operational output. This travel will include regular overnight stays which are essential to credible output.
  • Maintain accurate records to ensure that MODs Cyber & Specialist Operations Command has a fully auditable database that allows the tracking and risk management of all sensitive assets within remit.
  • Undertake reviews and refresh of relevant policies relating to MODs Cyber & Specialist Operations Command operational capability ensuring that risks is managed effectively and operational output is supported on a “best value-for-money” basis.
  • Assist and facilitate the completion of relevant asset audits relating to the functions of the team and operational capability.
  • Provide SME advice to operational sub-units.
  • Any other activities that relate to the functions of the team, as directed by the team’s leadership and management.
