Responsibilities

  • Providing systems support for the Pathology laboratory system.
  • To perform investigation of IT system malfunction, integration support, small systems advice and policies, together with maintaining general housekeeping and providing management of system user accounts & passwords.
  • Responsible for maintaining Pathology laboratory system and day to day running of the Pathology IT systems within the Trust and external links to other organisations.
  • Will assist the Path IT systems engineer and managers with the on-going development and support of Pathology and associated computer systems notably Clinisys Winpath Enterprise, SampleNet, Path Manager and ICE Order Comms.
  • The post holder will be a point of contact for matters relating to Pathology IT including fault finding, system configuration, activity and information reporting.
