Responsibilities

  • Support the Head of Patient & Public Involvement & Voice to ensure that the Trust has sound systems, policies and processes in place to proactively manage all aspects of Patient & Public Involvement & Voice
  • Lead the delivery of meaningful patient and public involvement across our organisation
  • Drive forward our ambition to be an organisation where patients, carers and communities feel heard, valued, and actively involved in improving services
  • Lead a dedicated Patient Engagement Team, working collaboratively with clinical and operational leaders to embed a culture of co-production, inclusion, and continuous improvement
  • Champion innovative approaches to gathering and analysing patient feedback—including surveys, digital platforms and patient stories—turning insight into impactful service change
  • Play a key role in ensuring the voices of seldom-heard groups are represented and acted upon, helping reduce inequalities and improve experiences for all
  • Provide strategic advice, training and support across the Trust, enabling teams to respond effectively to feedback, complaints, and emerging themes
  • Help translate insight into action, ensuring “you said, we did” becomes a lived reality
