Requirements

  • A SVQ4 in Payroll Administration or relevant payroll experience is required.
  • A minimum of 5 standard grades at credit level pass in Maths and English.
  • Significant experience in an NHS Pay Department or where the equivalent knowledge and experience is held the post holder will be working at the level of an appropriate professional payroll qualification, e.g. SVQ4 in Payroll Administration.

Responsibilities

  • You will work as part of a team delivering an accurate, efficient and confidential payroll service
  • You will take ownership of your own section of the payroll which will consist of approximately 1400 employees
  • This includes the provision of advice and guidance to managers, HR colleagues and staff members
  • You will provide advice and guidance in the application and interpretation of National, Local and Agenda for Change Terms & Conditions, policies, procedures and Statutory Regulations relating to salaries
