The role requires tact, persuasion, and negotiation skills to secure commitment from stakeholders and to provide timely and accurate information.
How will the Programme Project Manager report on project performance?
The Programme Project Manager will produce update reports for the Executive Team, tracking and monitoring progress of their assigned portfolio of projects.
Is there an independent PMO in place?
Yes, it is considered best practice for financially challenged organizations to have an independent PMO that can access and report directly to Executive Directors.
What is the role of the PMO in the Trust?
The PMO designs the architecture and tools, supports and guides the projects with project definition, planning, financials, and KPIs, and governs the projects through evidence gathering and reporting mechanisms.
What indicators are used for monitoring project success?
A robust set of early warning indicators are established to identify clinical risk, which will be reported on as part of the monitoring process.
