Responsibilities

  • You will support the psychological care of clients accessing the service. Clinical duties include:
  • screening referrals
  • assessing clients to determine their needs and suitability
  • offering a range of treatment options (e.g. GSH and groups)
  • clinical administration
  • liaising with healthcare providers to support onward referrals.
  • You will work with clients through a variety of means (telephone, online and face to face)
  • Opportunities to hold a champion and supervisor role (one-year post qualification)
  • You will support people from different cultural backgrounds, ages and use interpreters as needed. You will be passionate about providing equal opportunities.
  • You will work autonomously, following a plan agreed in line management and in accordance with service policies and procedures.
  • We are committed to supporting you with regular CPD, supervision, daily debrief/duty and weekly safeguarding debriefs.
  • You will be based in The Isleworth Centre (team base) and other sites in the London Borough of Hounslow at least two days per week.
