What kind of procedures does the Plain Film Department perform?
The Plain Film Department performs a wide range of procedures, including supporting specialist orthopaedic clinics, a busy theatre schedule, dental imaging, and Fluoroscopy, as well as running a full DXA programme.
What is the structure of the training program for the Band 5-6 training post?
The training program lasts around 6 months, with candidates receiving support from a mentor to achieve Band 6 competencies in both Plain Film and Cardiac Cath Labs.
What are the working hours for this position?
The position offers both full-time and part-time hours with a mixture of shifts ranging from 7.5 to 12.5 hours. Radiographers are required to work flexibly, including weekdays, weekends, nights, and on-call duties.
