  • Band 6 Radiographers currently rotate through all General Area’s, Nuclear Medicine, Interventional/Fluoro, and includes ED imaging.
  • You will be required to participate in the Out of Hours (OOH) rota, undertaking CT scanning, and general imaging OOH.
  • It is expected that the successful candidate will be an HCPC registered Diagnostic Radiographer in possession of the DCR and/or BSc/BSc Hons. in Diagnostic Radiography.
  • Previous NHS Experience is desirable.
  • The duties of this post require the successful candidate to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.

Responsibilities

  • The role will involve performing Radiographic examinations, providing direct care and a high-quality diagnostic imaging service to assist in the management of patients, and day to day organisation of specialist areas.
  • The successful candidate will be required to deputise for Imaging Team Leaders as required, supervise Radiographers, Assistant Practitioners, Clinical Support Workers, and students ensuring organisation of specialised areas within Radiology whilst providing continuity of service delivery.
  • Band 6 Radiographers currently rotate through all General Area’s, Nuclear Medicine, Interventional/Fluoro, and includes ED imaging.
  • You will be required to participate in the Out of Hours (OOH) rota, undertaking CT scanning, and general imaging OOH.
