The primary focus is on the follow-up, monitoring, and analysis of Initial Margin and Variation Margin valuation discrepancies at Santander Group level, while identifying possibilities for management improvements.
What are the key responsibilities associated with this position?
Key responsibilities include generating daily reports on Initial Margin, managing and reviewing the Initial Margin model, improving Initial Margin management, monitoring Variation Margin discrepancies, identifying gaps in valuation models, and participating in model validations and audits.
What is the required experience for applicants?
Applicants should have 4-5 years of experience in a relevant field.
What are the educational qualifications needed for this position?
Candidates should have a university degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Economics, and a Master’s degree in Quantitative Finance and/or Valuation Modeling is ideally preferred.
What technical skills are preferred for this role?
Preferred technical skills include strong knowledge of valuation and calculation methodologies, ideally knowledge of the SIMM model, and the ability to set up and manage simple macros.
What language proficiency is expected for this position?
A high level of English is required for this role.
