Responsibilities

  • The Post Holder Will Support The Discover And Develop Programme To Enhance And Provide a Customised Support Service To Innovators Who May Come From Industrial, Health Service Or Academic Backgrounds. This Includes
  • Managing a diverse portfolio of innovations at various stages of the innovation pipeline, ensuring they have an effective gap analysis and plan around their support needs.
  • Supporting the design and delivery of tailored support packages for innovators, in line with the Health Innovation Network’s Universal, Enhanced, and Distinctive offers.
  • Providing an interface between innovators and the health and care system to allow for knowledge exchange, feedback and advice that guides innovation development.
  • Leading the planning and delivery of a range of events and activities for innovators, industry and system colleagues.
  • Support the delivery of scanning activities to identify new products and innovations that meet the needs of our local health and care organisations.
  • Working closely with the wider team and system partners to identify key challenges and priorities within health and care pathways across the West of England, and supporting the identification of innovative solutions.
  • Responsible for day-to-day line management of staff, along with flexible, time-bound task management of colleagues from various disciplines and seniority levels.
