Do we support remote work?
No, this is a face-to-face role with no opportunity to work from home.
What are the working hours for this position?
The working hours are 37.5 hours per week, from 08:30 to 16:30, worked over five days.
Where will the post holder be based?
The post holder will be based in the Simulation Centre facility at Whipps Cross but may also be required to work across other sites as needed.
What types of educational sessions will the post holder be responsible for?
The post holder will be responsible for the preparation and delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate clinical skills sessions.
Will the post holder work alone or with others?
The post holder will deliver procedure-based teaching both independently and in partnership with specialists in the field.
Is there an opportunity to develop courses in this role?
Yes, the post holder will have the opportunity to develop, facilitate, and/or deliver income-generating courses.

What is the focus of the Simulation and Essential Clinical Skills service within Barts Health?
The focus of the service is to provide facilities and educational opportunities for both undergraduate and postgraduate trainees across Bart’s Health.
